How much is the delivery charge?
We are currently offering FREE weekday delivery, with a minimum order value of £50. If the value is less than £50.00, the delivery charge is £15.00. Please note, delivery charges may change due to weekly / monthly promotions.
How far do you deliver?
We deliver in England, Wales & Scotland
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to deliver to Northern Ireland at the moment.
What time will my delivery arrive?
Our APC courier provides us with a premium delivery service so your order should be with you usually between 11am and 2pm. Do not forget to check your email or text notification to check the approximate delivery time. Please be patient with delivery drivers during busy periods and poor weather.
How will I know my delivery is on its way?
On the day of despatch (ie the day before your delivery is due), you will receive a text notification to let you know that your parcel is en route and an approximate time of arrival.
What if I am not in when you deliver?
We can leave your parcel in a safe place. Please add your delivery instructions at the checkout page.
Do you offer weekly deliveries?
Yes! You can place an order up to 8 weeks in advance.
How will my product be packaged?
We vacuum-pack all our fresh fish and shellfish making it super convenient for immediate use or transferring to the freezer. Orders arrive in boxes filled with ice-bags to guarantee freshness.
Is the packaging recyclable?
Absolutely! Subject to local facilities

What is Freedom Foods salmon?
Responsibly farmed, great quality fish. When sourcing our salmon, we have cast our net wide and our Sottish Salmon is some of the finest in the world. Naturally farmed in the clean fast-flowing ocean waters between the West coast and the Shetland Islands, Freedom Foods Certified, superior source of Omega 3 oils and rich in vitamins and minerals.
Is my fish suitable for home freezing?
Yes! Our vacuum-packed fish make it simple for you to home freeze.
What do you mean by fresh fish?
Just off the boat. Our fish has never been frozen and defrosted. It arrives to our shop in Honiton as ‘straight off the boat’ as it is possible for it to be. Where we buy from the local market, we buy on quality and not purely on price.
How do I know how much to buy of each product and species?

How do I use my Gift Voucher?
If you have received an E-Gift Voucher, simply enter your unique Voucher Code into the 'Discount' box at the checkout to redeem the value of your voucher. If you choose not to spend the full amount of the Voucher, you will automatically receive the balance via an email once you complete checkout.
My fish fillets weigh less than the indicated weight and price, why ?
Fillets weigh a little less than the weight indicated for the whole fish because it has been gutted and the head, tail and backbone has been removed.
The lobster weight listed in our shellfish section are 'live' weight. All lobsters lose a small amount of weight once cooked. The general guideline would be 10-15% loss for a cooked lobster, 15-20% loss for a cooked, split and cleaned lobster.
What to expect when you purchase Crab Meat
We only sell fresh hand-picked crab meat and whilst the pickers are experts, they are not infallible. Please be aware that occasionally a small piece of shell may get left with the meat.
How soon can you deliver?
Normally this is within 48 hours (taking into account that we deliver Wednesday to Saturday). This allows us time to source, prepare, dispatch and deliver your order to you. Once you have ordered you will receive a confirmation email with the expected delivery date. However, please note that during busy periods or due to seasonality we may require a longer lead time.
Will fresh fish always be available?
We will make every effort to source a fresh product for your order, however, if we are unable to do so for any reason, we will inform you and replace it. The availability of all seafood at market can be impacted by many different factors – seasonality, bad weather, tidal variations and which boats are landing. As local fishmongers, we are able to source most fish from the markets but occasionally we may have to suggest a replacement.
